What a way to start

I have just created a blog. Well, really Sarah just created one for me. I have always wanted a blog just like I have always wanted to keep a journal. But as I have never been able to keep a journal going for very long, I'm not sure that this blog has much of a chance. To demonstrate: It took me a whole half hour to decide on my display name, blog title, and URL. You would think I was deciding on the name for my first child not my blog. So, if I can bring myself to 1) take the time to post regularly, and 2) jot notes instead of writing a dissertation, I will enjoy this blog..... eventually.
